TradingView to Delta Exchange: alerts to perpetual futures
13 Oct 2026 · 8 min read

TradingView cannot place a Delta Exchange order by itself. PineConnector keeps the webhook you already use for MT5 and, when Send alerts here is on for Delta, sends a market order through the Delta India API. The Expert Advisor is not involved. Your API key and secret stay encrypted on the account.
What this destination does
- Perpetual futures on the Delta India API. A typical map is
BTCUSDorBTCUSDTtowardBTCUSD. - Actions that fill: buy, sell, close, closelong, closeshort. Each one is a market order.
- Limit-style alert actions are refused. The log says crypto destinations only accept market buy, sell, and close.
- Optional stop-loss, take-profit, and trailing settings on the Delta card can place protective stops after a fill. They are not a promise the venue will accept them.
- Spot is not on this path.
Connect it
- Create an account and copy the webhook URL from the dashboard.
- Open Exchanges, choose Delta Exchange, and paste the API key and secret.
- Turn on Send alerts here. Trial and Starter can keep one exchange live. Pro allows up to 3, Multi up to 10. An extra connection turns an older one off.
- Paste the same URL into the TradingView alert and put JSON in the message field. The webhook guide shows the payload.
{
"symbol": "{{ticker}}",
"action": "{{strategy.order.action}}",
"strategy_id": "{{strategy.order.id}}"
}Symbol and size
The ticker is matched against Delta's product list and saved on the exchange mapping row. Confirm it before you raise size. The amount on the Delta card is margin, in USDT or INR, and PineConnector converts it into a whole number of contracts at the leverage on that card. If the alert itself supplies quantity, that quantity has to be a whole contract count.
Close-on-reverse, the kill switch, a daily trade cap, and a drawdown pause are settings on the Delta card. A kill switch fails the new signal immediately. Drawdown pause stops new entries. It does not flatten an open position.
When nothing fills
- No mapping — the ticker did not match a Delta product. Fix the symbol row.
- Insufficient margin — the log shows required margin against the available wallet.
- Limit action — change the alert to buy, sell, or close.
- Plan cap — another exchange already holds the only alert slot on trial or Starter.
Delta fills are not MT5 fills. A suffix such as EURUSD.m is a broker symbol problem, documented in the symbol-mapping guide. It does not change the Delta product name.
The same webhook can point at CoinDCX instead, or at MT5 through the local EA. Step-by-step fields are in the docs.
